- Communicating in an honest and open manner with indigenous people and their advisors.
- Negotiating in good faith consultative agreements with Aboriginal people in areas where it operates.
- Respecting the unique Aboriginal heritage by protecting sites of cultural significance.
- Encouraging its employees and contractors to respect the interests of indigenous people and to adhere to these principles.
